Japanese Knotweed and other invasive species such as Marestail and Himalayan Balsam are a blight on land across the UK, with the treatment of these invasive weeds difficult, expensive and not always successful.
Join us for our next hosted webinar event at 11am on 23rd May 2024 which will explore alternative sustainable and cost-effective invasive weed treatments available to manage invasive weeds effectively, delivered by TCS Geotechnics.
The webinar will be delivered by Ian Fraser, Technical Director at Technical Civils Solutions Ltd. Ian is a Geotechnical Engineer with close to 40 years of industry experience in geotechnical consultancy, specialist geotechnical contracting and geosynthetics system design, supply and construction.
Ian will present a safe, cost effective and sustainable solution that is particularly relevant to Public Open Space.
Attendees will be introduced to an alternative treatment for the removal of virulent invasive weeds, like Japanese Knotweed, that is significantly more cost effective than other typical treatments and permits unhindered continued use of the affected land for a range of purposes. The solution does not inhibit groundwater flow or surface water percolation and therefore avoids the creation of waterlogged, and thereby unusable, ground which is likely to occur with impermeable solutions.
