In September last year, Prince William visited a MACE London construction site – for an upcoming Microsoft news data centre – and spoke to workers there about mental health issues. It was an event orchestrated in collaboration with mental health charity Mates in Mind, and the issue at hand was the famously concerning statistics of male suicide in the industry.
LCRIG Associate Member, Re-Flow Field Management recently shared an analysis of ‘The Latest Information and Initiatives on Mental Health in the Construction Industry (2024)’.
The report identifies how mental health affects businesses, the causes and symptoms of poor mental health, and highlights the important work being carried out by Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity.
