Don’t miss Gaist’s next free CPD-accredited session on Lifecycle Modelling

Gaist are running their next free, online one-hour sessions, CPD accredited by the Institute of Highways Engineers, focusing once again on lifecycle modelling on Friday 19/04/2024 at 10am.

New for 2024, this will be a repeat of the first IHE-accredited session on lifecycle modelling for highways, initially run with great success back in January this year.

Presented by their Head of Professional Services, Christina Liassides, this has once again been made freely available to both existing clients and those who have never used Gaist services before.

The session will focus on how, using condition data and other inputs, lifecycle modelling can provide multi-option analysis for strategic maintenance decisions, allowing highways managers to understand how decisions made today will impact the network in the longer term. This level of analysis can provide a reliable headline figure and is a planning and budgeting tool for strategic decision making, allowing the user to confidently make decisions on their maintenance strategy and maximise use of their budgets.

The content is designed to be useful for those who have many years of experience as highways engineers- offering a deeper understanding of how Gaist use technology to provide services in support of short- and long-term highways maintenance whilst also providing a great introduction to newer members of staff. They are also designed with a level of interactivity in mind, providing regular breaks for questions which enables participants to ask questions specific to their experience and interact with the content. The content meets the highest standard, accredited for professional learning by the IHE.

If you would like to register yourself or wider teams for the session, just email kitty.hammond@gaist.co.uk.
