The Road Safety Markings Association (RSMA) has announced that its Chief Executive Officer Stu McInroy will leave the organisation this year.
Mr McInroy joined the RSMA as CEO in March 2018 and will step down in the middle of this year.
He said: “I have informed the Chair and Executive Committee of my decision to leave the RSMA. This has been a difficult decision, as I leave behind a strong and talented staff and a cohesive Executive Committee upon whose support I have always been able to count. I shall continue to represent RSMA members to the best of my ability until the end of my tenure and ensure a smooth transition to my successor in order to maintain the positive momentum that the RSMA has established.
“I have enjoyed immensely my time at the RSMA of which no small part is due to the people, whether Executive Committee members, employees/owners of member companies or RSMA staff. I shall miss greatly the RSMA, its members and staff, but feel that now is the right time to move on.’’
RSMA Chair, Justin Fischbach, said: “Stu has been a very successful and well-liked CEO who will be greatly missed. He has achieved much at the RSMA and has done a remarkable job of leading the organisation through a period of restructuring and refocussing to protect and promote the interests of its members. We shall all be very sorry to see him leave but I am sure that I speak for the Executive Committee, members and staff in wishing him every success in his next role. The RSMA shall begin the recruitment process for Stu’s successor in the New Year.’’
