The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is pleased to announce that next month’s Strictly Highways event has been granted CPD certification by the CPD Certification Service.
This means that it has been recognised that the learning value and structure of the event conforms to CPD guidelines and LCRIG is able to offer delegates a Certificate of Attendance, which they can attach to their CPD log as evidence of continued professional development.
Strictly Highways brings together the whole highways community, including councils, the Department for Transport (DfT), academia, industry associations, the supply chain and media. The popular event enables everyone to learn about new innovation and technology, share experiences, receive updates from the DfT and showcases the industry associations.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to learn something new, refresh existing knowledge, improve skills, and keep up to date with the latest developments in the highways sector. The theme for this year’s event is centred around ‘Making the case for local roads’.
Paula Claytonsmith, Director, Government, and Strategy at LCRIG said: “This will be the first time that Strictly Highways will be a CPD certified event and this is testament to our ongoing drive to continue to support the sector.”
The diverse programme will be split into four key focus areas – net zero, collaboration, innovation and skills – which align to LCRIG’s key activities and initiatives.
