Are you an enthusiastic individual looking for fresh challenges in a forward thinking Highway and Traffic Service? If so, your application is invited for the key post of Principal Engineer Highway Maintenance & Improvements based out of the Civic Centre offices in Keynsham near Bristol.

Working as part of a busy Highway Maintenance and Drainage Team, you will:

Manage the planning and delivery of annual carriageway and footway resurfacing/surface treatment capital programmes of work.

Work with colleagues to manage and deliver an innovative and consistent highway asset management approach.

Integrate with supply chain partners and consultants to ensure timely and cost affective delivery of works.

Develop a small professional team in effective delivery of annual programmes ensuring engagement with all stakeholders across the all areas.

Being enthusiastic and keen to work and develop a one team approach both within the service and corporately will be essential.

Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away.
