The most widely recognised Information Security Certification has been awarded to KaarbonTech for its asset management solutions.
The company, which is a leading provider of operational asset management solutions to the highways, local government and utilities sectors has achieved the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification for its IT solutions for customers.
KaarbonTech provides highway asset management software and services to councils and contractors to help accurately define and manage their risk on a day–to–day basis.
“As a provider of asset management and operational software that is delivered as a service (SaaS), this certification is an important demonstration of our commitment to the highest standards of internal security,” said Mark Entwistle, Founder and Managing Director of KaarbonTech. “Not only does the ISO certification recognise our high security standards, but it lets our customers, partners and prospects know that we take the protection of their data extremely seriously.”
ISO is the world’s largest developer and creator of standards that specify worldwide requirements for products, services, processes, materials and systems. ISO 27001 is the international standard developed specifically for Information Security Management Systems (“ISMS”), requiring that a company uses a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and ensuring data security. KaarbonTech’s ISO 27001 certification by Approachable Certification recognises the Company’s implementation of an effective information security system that complies with one of the most stringent international standards.
Mark Harriman Tarmac Operational Manager, Walsall, said, “KaarbonTech’s solutions are high quality, easy to use and fit for purpose. Working with the team is always a pleasure, and I’m delighted that they’ve received this security certification. With the ever-increasing risks associated with cybersecurity, as KaarbonTech customers, this will definitely serve to put our minds at ease.”
