View from the top: The climate change agenda

Carbon reduction measures are featuring more and more lately and highways are being asked to step up to the plate.

Whether that’s through more carbon friendly materials or processes I have no doubt that climate change will dictate how we deliver our services for the next decade and beyond.

From my knowledge of the sector I can see there are some contractors who want to lead the way, whilst others are happy to follow. I’m hoping we will explore this in more detail during our next LCRIG webinar being planned for early December. This will be on the subject of supporting climate change by decarbonising our operations. We will hear about some businesses at the forefront of this imperative by sharing some of the best examples our sector has to offer.

We all have our part to play, so I’d really like to hear from the thought leaders in our industry on how you are influencing future delivery to see if we can build this into the webinar discussion.
