View from the top: Another busy week!

It has been a busy week for our Chief Executive, Paula Claytonsmith, and so this edition of the ‘View from the Top’ is a prelude to her popular vlog, which will be posted today.

At the start of the week, Paula took part in the Transport Technology Forum (TTF) project meeting to finalise preparations for the traffic signals funding applications going live and to discuss the wider TTF activities.

On Wednesday, Paula joined local authorities from the north of England in Bolton for the TTF ‘Roads to Tomorrow’ engagement workshop. The workshop, which featured Michael Dnes, Head of Future Roads Technology, Department for Transport (DfT), provided the opportunity for councils to hear from DfT and to discuss some of the barriers and opportunities for roads.

Yesterday, Paula was in London for the ITS UK Export Study launch which is taking place as part of International Trade Week. The new report, developed in partnership with the DfT, highlights key overseas markets for UK companies delivering transport technology solutions.
