Lancashire Highways Service is responsible for the direct delivery of all highway related schemes across the County made up of 4300 miles of road, 151,000 street lights and 2955 bridges.
Starting salary dependent on skills and experience.
Lancashire County Council has an excellent opportunity for a Hiab Operator based at the Singleton Depot. The successful candidates will be required to carry out column and sign installation / removal, call outs, and other duties which are deemed appropriate to the post.
The posts being advertised are permanent subject to a six month probationary period being successfully completed.
The candidate will hold a current full driving licence with significant experience of working within the street lighting construction and maintenance sector. As this role involves working on the highway network, they also require someone with an excellent awareness of health and safety legislation and traffic management systems pertaining to street lighting construction and maintenance.
