We are looking to recruit a Technical Business Development Manager who has a background in portable traffic signals and/or mobile VMS.

Purpose of the Job

To contribute to the development and sustainable growth of the business in line with the Coeval Business Strategy, by utilising their extensive market knowledge, technical skills and contacts.

Description of the Job Activities

Key Responsibility

  1. Ownership of the designated sales area and all clients within it
  2. Developing of an opportunity pipeline
  3. Meeting the quarterly/annual budgeted Order Intake and Sales targets
  4. Assisting and preparing tender submissions, including quality and financial elements
  5. Market and competitor analysis
  6. Ensure a proper handover file is presented for all won tenders to the service delivery function
  7. Being able to present at a technical level all Coeval products and services
  8. Commercial management of designated contracts
  9. Participate in technical review meetings with suppliers

Person Specification

Essential Desirable
Qualifications
  • Minimum of GCSE in Maths and English.
  • Technical qualification.
  • Degree level in appropriate technical discipline
Experience
  • Considerable experience working within a technical business development role.
  • Used to working in a competitive sales environment
  • Use of CRM
  • Working with local authority environment
