This is an exciting opportunity to join the Highway Maintenance team who have responsibility for maintenance of around 2000km of adopted road network. Reporting to the Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer the successful candidate will assist in the detailed design of highway maintenance schemes, including streetscape improvements within the public realm.

The successful candidate will also assist in the procurement, award and administration of contracts as well as the supervision of highway works on site.

You should be qualified to at least HNC/D or Technical NVQ Level 6 in civil engineering.

A full driving licence and the ability to drive to our different sites throughout the district is essential.
