The Amberon Group | Fast Growth 75 showcases Amberon as a rapid riser

Paignton based Amberon Group is now the biggest employer in the traffic management industry.

A regular fixture on the annual Western Morning News Fast Growth 75 list, this year, tHE Amberon Group climbed from 16 to number eight, proving the outlook for ambitious businesses is strong in the South West, as well as showcasing the continued journey from strength to strength the company is on.

With its headquarters in Paignton, the firm led by Terry Musson and Dan East is now the biggest employer in the traffic management industry with over 750 direct employees.

Undertaking activities from temporary traffic lights to full motorway closures, the company’s distinctive red vans are now seen up and down the length of the country. With 28 Amberon TM depots nationwide, it’s a truly national operation.

In recent years, Amberon Ltd has transformed into the Amberon Group, with strategic acquisitions of leading motorway barrier company Barrier Services Ltd in November 2018, followed by the more recent acquisition of MLP Traffic from East Anglia.

Now trading out of a total of 34 locations across the UK, the group view is looking very strong with total sales expected to exceed £60m this year – and that trend is expected to continue as new depot locations are added and additional services are added to their highways portfolio.

Group MD Terry Musson said:

“We wouldn’t be able to grow so strongly year on year without the support and dedication of all of the teams that make up the group.

“We are very lucky to work with such a great bunch and want to pass our thanks on them for making it all possible.”

Commercial Director Dan East added:

“A further ascension up the Fast Growth 75 list is a proud achievement, and we’re really happy to be helping to fly the flag for businesses in the South West.

“As we grow, and The Amberon Group continues to develop, we’re excited to hopefully achieve a further rise up the list for 2020.”
