Registration open for #AsktheDft event

Registration for LCRIG’s first ever #AsktheDfT webinar is now open and there’s still time to put your questions in for consideration ahead of the event. 

Our exclusive new quarterly webinar series will bring together a panel of experts to answer your questions, which will be focused around key topic areas.  

The first event is taking place on 28 April at 10am and will be focused on the Department for Transport’s local highways maintenance incentive fund, particularly around sustainability and decarbonisation. The DfT representatives taking part in this are Matthew Eglinton, Highways Maintenance and Innovation Policy Manager, Local Infrastructure; and Darren Capes, ITS Policy Lead, Traffic and Technology Division.  

LCRIG Content Director Alec Peachey said: “There’s still time to submit your question for consideration, but you’ll need to be quick as time is running out. During the event audience members will be given the opportunity to ask the questions themselves as well as follow up. This will allow for interactive and engaging sessions with local authorities and the supply chain hearing first-hand from the DfT.”  

The event is free to all members from both the public and private sectors. Local government non-members (i.e. all local highway authorities) will also be able to attend. Only those who are members of LCRIG will be eligible to ask questions in advance of each webinar. Private sector organisations who are not members will not be able to participate in the events.
