Pilot Group acquires ‘urban driving environment’ division of Variable Message Signs
Pilot Group, the Manchester-based sustainable technology solutions firm, has acquired the ‘urban driving environment’ division of signage-systems firm Variable Message Signs (‘VMS’), the Hill & Smith owned company. The deal sees Pilot Group further strengthen its traffic control systems portfolio and enhance its broad offering of industry-leading smart traffic control solutions.
VMS’ Urban division supplies a range of industry leading LED light technology solutions, in fixed and mobile configurations.
Pilot Group is an established provider of traffic control systems, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of systems across the UK. The Group’s systems play a key part in the efficient and safe operation of many of the UK’s urban areas, also helping to positively impact on how road networks can minimise their environmental impact.
