Roadfill has joined the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) as an associate member.
The company works with local highway authorities and councils to repair damaged roads using recycled plastic waste which is added to a bitumen mix when laying asphalt.
Founder and director Christie Raptaki said: “I originally found about LCRIG at the last Highways UK event. With no hesitation I contacted them and found a truly helpful team behind the scenes. Our vision and ethos matched immediately and I jumped on the LCRIG train. I felt that this is exactly what I was looking for. An experienced partner who will help Roadfill get in front of the right council, talk to the right people who want to act now, who move from talking ”green” to laying a “green” road, and who will do it today.”
