LCRIG welcomes two new members

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is delighted to welcome Story Contracting Ltd as an Associate Member and Sefton Council as a Council Member.

Story Contracting Ltd provides award-winning rail, plant and construction solutions.

Simon Higgens, Business Development Director at Story Contracting Ltd said “As Story Contracting Ltd continues to expand its Highways offering, it is keen to learn best practice from other contractors, while understanding the wider requirements of local councils. Story will also look to introduce to LCRIG members the ideas, methods and innovations that it has developed on its current road schemes in addition to those identified in its rail, nuclear and energy divisions”.

Sefton Council is the governing body for the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in the county of Merseyside, north-western England.

Gary Jordan, Highway Asset Manager at Sefton Council said: “Sefton Council are delighted to join the LCRIG Community. We look forward to working with partners, sharing best practice and tapping into the excellent opportunities that LCRIG creates.”.

LCRIG provides Members with a unique platform to engage with councils, the DfT and the wider highways community.
