LCRIG welcomes new members

This week, the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) welcomes ND Brown Limited and Valerann as our latest Associate Members.

ND Brown Limited are a commercial vehicle hire and hot box specialist with circa.

Lee Kind, Sales Director, at ND Brown Ltd said: “ND Brown Limited have been supplying the municipal and highway maintenance sectors nationally for well over 4 decades with high quality, well equipped EURO 6, FORS Silver, DVS and ULEZ compliant specialist commercial vehicles on a self-drive hire basis. The ND Brown Team are looking forward to meeting and collaborating with the LCRIG community and promoting our comprehensive fleet profile including our range of specialist chassis mounted, trailer and static Hot Boxes – the smarter way to store and deliver asphalt materials to specification and at a safe workable temperature”.

 

Valerann serves road operators as an innovative cutting-edge Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) SaaS company specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Data Fusion technology.

Olga Gonzalez, Global Marketing Director, at Valerann said: “We are pleased to join the LCRIG community on their mission to drive innovation in the UK. Together, we are set to redefine the national standards of modern road management and safety through equipping local councils with the latest technology. By using advance computation and AI, we deliver roads 100% monitoring coverage without the need of substantial investments into roadside infrastructure.”

 

LCRIG provides Members with a unique platform to engage with councils, the DfT and the wider highways community.

By joining LCRIG you will connect with a community of like-minded councils, organisations and individuals, all of whom are driving change through innovation and technological advances across the local roads network.

Fully-funded places are available for public sector members, and discounted rates are available for private sector members at LCRIG events.

LCRIG has four membership types:

Local highway authorities and ‘Teckal’ organisations.

Organisations providing products or services to the highways sector.

Government and professional bodies, associations, working/research groups.

Universities and academic research organisations.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), accredited to ISO44001, the international standard for collaboration, LCRIG’s purpose is to ‘give back to the community’ and we are not for profit.
