LCRIG welcomes new Associate Member

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is delighted to welcome Foster Contracting Ltd as an Associate Member.

 

Foster Contracting Ltd supply and lay geosynthetic membranes for crack reduction in asphalt surfaces, runway rubber removal, surface retexturing and other specialist surface treatments.

Ian Fraser, Technical Consultant at Foster Contracting Ltd said: “Foster Contracting Ltd are pleased to be joining LCRIG as we believe this will provide us with additional opportunities to share the benefits of geosynthetic asphalt layers with a wider community. LCRIG provides the perfect vehicle for us to engage with highways stakeholders and exchange valuable knowledge and experience so that we can assist in the development of a better maintained and sustainable road network via optimisation of whole life carbon and economic maintenance budgets.”

LCRIG has four membership types:

Local highway authorities and ‘Teckal’ organisations.

Organisations providing products or services to the highways sector.

Universities and academic research organisations.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), accredited to ISO44001, the international standard for collaboration, LCRIG’s purpose is to ‘give back to the community’ and we are not for profit.
