The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is proud to announce National Highways has joined as a Key Organisation member.
National Highways manage and improve England’s motorways and major A roads, helping their customers have safer, smoother and more reliable journeys.
Annette Pass, Head of Innovation at National Highways commented: “We are really pleased to become one of the Key organisation members of LCRIG and look forward to working together more closely to share innovation, knowledge and experience to benefit both our strategic road network and local roads.”
A carbon-saving alternative to traditional methods of resurfacing roads is currently being used for the first time by VolkerHighways’ Bath and North East Somerset highways term maintenance team to carry out essential resurfacing works to the A368 at Chelwood, Somerset.
With just one week to go until LCRIG's Innovation Festival takes place at Newark Showground, the final programme for the event has been announced and features a wide range of speakers from across the highways community.
