LCRIG welcomes 150th Associate Member!

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is delighted to welcome smartmicro UK Limited as our 150th Associate member!

smartmicro UK Limited designs, develops and manufactures radar solutions for traffic management and automotive purposes.

Peter Eccleson, Managing Director at smartmicro UK Ltd said: “We at smartmicro UK are excited to be joining the ever-expanding community of highway authorities and suppliers. We hope to bring knowledge of our leading radar technology to the wider industry to demonstrate the safety aspects of our products as well as the environmental benefits of our above ground detection. Adaptive traffic light control helps to reduce CO2 and enhances road safety. We want to learn and understand from our peers their needs and hope to provide solutions that deliver value”.

LCRIG has four membership types:

Local highway authorities and ‘Teckal’ organisations.

Organisations providing products or services to the highways sector.

Government and professional bodies, associations, working/research groups.

Universities and academic research organisations.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), accredited to ISO44001, the international standard for collaboration, LCRIG’s purpose is to ‘give back to the community’ and we are not for profit.
