LCRIG to take part in Build Back Better event

LCRIG chief executive Martin Duffy is part of a panel of high-profile sector experts who are speaking at Meon’s upcoming Build Back Better event.

The event, which is taking place on 22 September, is a free to ‘attend’ e-conference providing clients, contractors, asset owners and managers with an insight into how the sector can deliver the response to the challenges laid down by the government’s investment in the UK’s highways network.

Mr Duffy will be speaking on the topic of productivity/economy. Other speakers include: Steve Spender, chief executive of the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE); Mark Stevens, chair of the Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport (ADEPT); and Sarah Murkerjee, chief executive of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.

The Build Back Better event builds on from the Virtual EXPO that Meon delivered throughout July and aims to provide the sector with the tools to deliver targeted outcomes in economic growth, sustainability and resilience.

As well as featuring keynote speaker presentations the virtual online event will include roundtable discussions, case studies and product and service demonstrations.
