LCRIG to participate in Highways UK

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group are participating in next week’s Highways UK event.

Highways UK brings together those responsible for the UK’s roads infrastructure. With senior-level involvement of clients, Tier 1s and their supply chains, the event attracts key influencers, thought-leaders and decision makers.

This year’s virtual event is taking place between 2-6 November. LCRIG President Will Britain will form part of a live panel discussion covering an assessment of 2020, with various perspectives on the sector’s Covid response and recovery. He will be discussing these issues alongside Stephen Fidler, Director Local Transport, Department for Transport and Nigel Riglar, President of ADEPT on 4 November from 12.20pm to 1pm.

Will then joins forces with our Chief Executive Martin Duffy and Lee Merces, Managing Director of Highway Workforce, to deliver a session entitled ‘Breaking through the SME procurement barrier’. This pre-recorded discussion will offer an exclusive insight into Project Amber and will go out on 6 November at 11.40am.

LCRIG will also form part of The Ringway Local Authority Hub with visitors able to arrange meetings with our staff. To find out more about the event visit https://www.terrapinn.com/exhibition/highways-uk/index.stm

Once registered you can discover more about the Local Authority Hub, register to attend specific sessions and book meetings with representatives from organisations involved with the event.
