LCRIG launches new recruitment service

A new recruitment service from the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) – – is due to launch next week.

As part of the launch initiative we would like to offer all our members the opportunity to post job vacancies free for the first month.

The people using our site for news, updates and services are professionals from within the highways sector, so by using the LCRIG recruitment service the roles that you advertise have the best chance of reaching the right applicants. Taking advantage of our position within the sector we can drive the best candidates to your roles.

This service will remain free of charge for councils. In addition, all postings for apprenticeships, graduate placements and work experience opportunities will be free of charge to all. All other members will also benefit from three free vacancies per annum and will be also be entitled to significant discounts for additional job postings and recruiter accounts.

Secretariat & Executive Officer Susanne Ingham said:  “LCRIG is in a unique position to facilitate fresh thinking in innovation and collaboration throughout the sector. A key part of our role is to bring the ‘highways community’ together and we can now support this further through the introduction of our recruitment service.

“We are also offering a tailored job service whereby clients can engage LCRIG to provide introductions to potential candidates for a modest fixed price. It is important to find the right people for the right roles and we recognise that identifying the best candidates for jobs can sometimes be a challenging task. That is why I am delighted that we can help by supplying a service where the sector can promote their highways jobs to a relevant and targeted audience, and that we can also help by facilitating key introductions.”

All members who are interested in taking advantage of the offer to post all jobs free for one month should contact LCRIG Secretariat Susanne Ingham at

In the first instance LCRIG will facilitate the posting and sharing of vacancies for the highways community but then each member and non member will be able to upload, promote and manage their own vacancies using their organisation profile page and unique login details.
