The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is delighted to announce that Kiely Bros Ltd will be our Main Conference Partner for this year’s Strictly Highways, which returns to the iconic Winter Gardens, Blackpool from 3-5 October 2023.
Strictly Highways is LCRIG’s flagship annual conference, networking event and awards ceremony. The coveted event brings together the whole highways community, including councils, the Department for Transport (DfT), academia, industry associations, the supply chain and media and celebrates the amazing work that is taking place in our sector.
There has been an overwhelming level of interest in the event since bookings opened last Thursday (20th July) and demand for sponsorship packages, exhibitor spaces and delegate places has been unprecedented.
We still have a limited number of exhibitor spaces and delegate places available. For more information and to book, please visit the Strictly Highways website here.
Delegates attending this year’s event will have the opportunity to learn about new innovations and technology, share experiences, receive updates from the DfT and network across the two days in the glittering setting of the Ballroom at the Winter Gardens.
Our conference programme over the two days is CPD certified and features a range of interactive panel debates and presentations focused around our 4 pillars – collaboration, innovation, net zero and skills and includes a variety of speakers from across public and private sector.
We are also proud to be hosting the prestigious Special Recognition Awards once again on behalf of Department for Transport (DfT). Established by the late Steve Berry OBE, the Department for Transport’s former head of highways maintenance, innovation and resilience, these awards recognise companies and individuals who have gone the extra mile to deliver change in the sector.
Stay tuned. We will be announcing further information on the awards categories and entry information very soon and look forward to receiving award submissions.
Kiely Bros Ltd is at the forefront of carriageway and footpath surfacing and surface treatments and has a long-established nationwide reputation for collaborative working with local authorities and maintenance contractors. Offering a full suite of services to clients, right the way through from planning and preparation works to the installation of road markings on your newly treated road.
Sustainability and environmental awareness is at the core of Kiely Bros ethos and they are continuously exploring new innovations to enable them to operate at the most carbon-friendly output possible.
To ensure the event is accessible to the whole highways community, local authority delegates will once again receive fully funded places which include, accommodation, catering and refreshments. This is funded by revenue generated from sponsorship and exhibitor sales. Last year’s event saw more than 370 delegates attend over the two days with representation from more than 70 different highway authorities from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Don’t miss your chance of being part of Strictly Highways 2023.
