JCB joins LCRIG

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is delighted to welcome JCB as a new member.

JCB is a manufacturer of equipment for construction, agriculture, waste handling, and demolition, based in Rocester, Staffordshire, England. The company has joined LCRIG as an associate member.

It produces over 300 types of machines, including diggers (backhoes), excavators, tractors, and diesel engines, across 22 factories spanning Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.

Speaking about joining LCRIG, Ben Rawding, Product Team – Specialist at JCB, said“LCRIG has a prominent voice in the industry with a common culture of looking for innovation and collaboration. That’s something that we want to replicate in our relationship with LCRIG. We’re looking for an opportunity to show innovation and a better way of working in highways.”

The company will be unveiling a new machine that is set to revolutionise the way local authorities deal with potholes at a launch event on Monday (11 January).
