Demonstration opportunities for this summer’s Innovation Festival are still available.
The event, which will be held at Newark Showground from 04-05 July, offers exhibitors the chance to showcase their innovative products and services in action on a private road network area at the venue. Last year’s inaugural event saw over 450 delegates in attendance over the two-day event and this year’s event is set to be even bigger.
Last year’s Festival saw 11 live demonstrations take place showing the latest innovations on offer. A range of innovations showed off the versatility of the sector with a range of demonstrations including software developments and large plant and equipment, through to smaller, but equally impressive innovations, such as ergonomic handles on wheelbarrows.
This year’s event will be bigger and better with visitors set to see sector-leading demonstrations, highlighting the best maintenance practices and future technology.
The Local Council Roads Innovation Group is working closely with the Transport Technology Forum on this year’s event, with the TTF committing to take advantage of the private road network area at the venue, which will be used to carry out live demonstrations.
Industry expert, Lee Merces will be putting together an outdoor demonstration programme with Andy Graham providing technical support.
Lee is the Managing Director of Highway Workforce and has over 37 years’ experience in the highways sector.
Andy Graham is the owner of White Willow Consulting. He has a track record in leading ITS projects.
Demonstration booking deadline: 02 June 2023.
