CEO of LCRIG to speak at TTF conference

The Chief Executive of LCRIG has been named as one of the speakers at this year’s Transport Technology Forum Virtual Conference which takes place between 3-5 March.

Martin Duffy will speak during the opening session outlining the work of LCRIG, alongside Darren Capes of the DfT, Arup’s Mark Morris and Zeljko Jeftic from ERTICO – ITS Europe.

This is one of six sessions taking place over the three day event which is aimed at local authority highways and transport professionals and their suppliers, contractors and consultants.

The theme of the conference is the challenges the transport industry is facing following the Covid-19 crisis.

Participants are encouraged to pick and choose which sessions they take part in, with the promise all content will be available on demand in easy bite-sized chunks after the event. As well as two keynote sessions, there will be ones led by Innovate UK and London Councils plus one on the shape of traffic in the future led by leading transport and ITS consultant Andy Graham of White Willow.

On the Wednesday and Thursday evenings, in lieu of social events, an hour’s informal discussion with a series of guests will take place which will be audio-only to allow listeners to get on with other things without being tied to a screen. Presented by former national radio presenter Paul Hutton, what’s been nicknamed “TT-FM”  promises to be something very different from normal “traffic news”

Further details of the event will be released over the coming weeks. You can sign up for your place here.
