VolkerHighways specialises in the delivery of highways and lighting term maintenance contracts, surfacing, traffic management and public realm infrastructure services.
The majority of our term maintenance contracts are delivered for local authorities and public sector clients, with many of whom we have long-standing and collaborative relationships. We also work with private clients and internally alongside other businesses across VolkerWessels UK.
VolkerSmart Technologies is our Smart Cities initiative. We provide integrated project management and an end-to-end solution for sourcing, installing and maintaining the physical infrastructure required for connected and sustainable communities of the future – smart towns and cities. Our services include electric vehicle charge points, fibre optic networks, 5G, variable message signs and central management systems.
VolkerHighways’ vision is to be a sustainable and innovative provider of choice for highways and infrastructure services. Through its People-Planet-Purpose framework – a ten-year sustainability strategy – VolkerHighways aims to grow responsibly, to deliver social value to the communities it works in and to protect the natural environment, leaving a legacy it is proud of.
